Etiquette-

"I've never done this before, I don't know what's expected of me."

Many clients have never experienced the niche of boudoir photography before. They're not sure what to expect.  Knowing before hand makes them more comfortable.

Do you have a client closet?

No. I want you to source what makes you feel amazing. It can be lingerie, a big sweater. Cute panties and a t-shirt. Even your birthday suit. You don't have to buy expensive lingerie to make the most of your session.

What about the "ick"

This comes up frequently. First, coming to your session freshly washed, with clean and dry hair is imperative.  It makes a huge difference to our hair and make up artist as well as those who come after you. This includes heavy perfume. While we all want parts of us to linger,  it should be happy memories, not scents, as lovely as perfumes can be.

Second, all sheets and robes are washed after each client. You'll never touch linens that haven't been laundered.

Have an allergy? Make sure to mention it during our zoom pre-session and we can make accommodations.

How long should I clear my schedule for?

I never schedule more than two clients a day.  I think that it's so important not to feel rushed. This is a time to be pampered and feel amazing. You may be nervous or need extra coaching.  That time is baked into your session. Plan on 3-4 hours to be able to snack, relax, be pampered by our hair and make up artist, and then take our time with the camera.

What about tipping/ gratuity?

Gratuity is never expected. I don't accept tips, but if you'd like to tip your hair and make up artist, you're welcome to do so.

And always tip your server.
